This item is a tiny and dim single light that moves to project on the wall. You would be better off with a flashlight. Plus the thing is incredibly loud! I returned mine immediately. Save your money.

This product did not work properly. After installing the batteries, a light came out from the top but did not "move" across the room as indicated. I have tried to contact the manufacturer, but without luck.

After reading poor reviews for this product I purchased it anyways. For the cost, this product does what it says it does. Yes, the motor is loud but that's the only complaint I have. I have a fiber optic star ceiling in my living room and when I put this on my fireplace mantle, it looked great. I also have a glow in the dark star ceiling in my bedroom and put this on there and I think it looks very realistic. If you are expecting a planetarium-perfect shooting star simulator, you're going to be a little disappointed but all in all, for the cost, this is a fun and educational toy. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the motor is extremely noisy.
