Its one of the cheapest projectors around, and one of the only ones that gets shipped to Australia - so naturally I was sceptical of the quality of this projector... but at this price I thought I'd just go for it and try it out.
Package came last week and I've been using it heavily since. Easy to set up Easy to use I've been playing NBA 2K11 through a PC and watched movies, and everything seems to be working fine.
Most my friends are impressed and are thinking of buying the same. Especially with the AUD kicking the USD's ass. Some friends are still sceptical and are waiting to see if it dies in 2 months.
Verdict: So far so good. Laughing at the price!

I use a MacBook Pro laptop for all my work. Finding a light weight, compact projector that is easy to connect to the MacBook and produces crisp, clear images was a boon. Tomorrow I am calling customer service as I still can't get this Optoma to work!!! The light won't even come on!!! If they can't help me...it is going back. What a dissapointment so far!!!! Can they help?? That is the question...
