Let me just get this out of the way: I hate the phone call to up-sell me on things I don't need.Now, this is a great projector. I might get another, because it is so portable and flexible. I'm using it for "dive-in-movies" at the pool. The extra lumens allow me to start the movies a little earlier than my Sanyo PLV-Z2000. The picture compares favorably to the Sanyo with two exceptions: there is a fairly pronounced color-wheel (rainbow) effect, and there is also a "screen-door" effect, both due to the DLP technology. I was surprised by the color-wheel effect, because I thought the independent light sources would eliminate the need for a color-wheel.
