I own this LG DLP 3D projecor since dec. 2010. I've liked overhall, but the low contrast ratio bothers me. Also some movies I can't make it do 16.9, the image look really big, some IMAX BD 3D will do that,also Alice in Wonder Land, Coraline, Shrek 1, Ice Age, but most BD will play right 16.9. I gave 4 stars due to the low contrast ratio, it would be much better if it was just above 10.000:1. I have a Sony projector vpl-aw10 with 6000:1 contrast ratio, and it is just great, the best projector I ever own. So I believe that if LG increased the contrast ratio, and make it 16.9 native, it would make a great 3D projector. I still recomend. Can't beat this price.

I just bought this projector couple of months ago as i was looking for affordable 3D Projector. This projector has great 3D playback compatibility. It works with my PS3, XBox 360, and my 3D Blu-ray player. To enjoy 3D playback all I needed was the DLP Link 3D glasses. There was no additional emitter and complex setup required. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who enjoys 3D movies and games.

When I purchased this projector there were very few reviews, this projector is primarily used for entertainment and the ability to use a Blu Ray player, XBOX was a key to this purchase, since this projector has 1.4a HDMI, it worked perfect with the3D ready Blu Ray player. The 3D also worked with the use of DLP Link 3D glasses, the kids loved it. Overall very pleased with this purchase. I would highly recommend it.
